Citizens enquire about their passenger rights on Your Europe Advice Facebook chat

27 November 2018

On 20 November, legal experts from the Your Europe Advice service, took part in a Facebook chat on passenger rights in the EU.

Last week’s chat on passenger rights reached over 100.000 users, as experts from Your Europe Advice replied to a total of 43 questions in two hours.

Answers were provided in English, French, German and Slovenian – however Italian, Polish, Greek, Bulgarian, Danish and Swedish also featured among the available languages.

The questions covered a range of different topics of interest for mobile EU citizens. Most questions involved individual cases (compensations, refunds, over-bookings and delays), however several questions on Brexit and the European Commission’s future plans were also raised.

YEA experts are regularly asked by the Commission to take part in its online chats about EU rights. For more information, take a look at some of the questions and answers here.
