The first panel focused on current challenges faced by EU citizens with regard to their rights’ enforcement, and the second panel featured grassroots actions of civic campaigning and engagement.
The event also hosted the official launch of YourVoteMatters, an innovative web platform under the You Vote EU project, aimed at informing citizens and civil society organisations about EU policies and connecting them with their current representatives, new candidates for the 2019 European Elections, and other voters.
The conference was organised in the framework of the YouVoteEU project under the Rights, Equality and Citizenship programme of the European Commission, and the ACT for Free Movement project supported by the Thematic Fund on EU Mobile Citizens´ Access to Rights of the European Programme for Integration and Migration (EPIM).
