As Legal Coordinator, Mariana’s main responsibilities are:
– Day-to-day management of Your Europe Advise;
– Support the Senior Legal Manager;
– Support in researching and analysing different aspects of the EU Rights legal framework.
Before joining ECAS, Mariana was a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission, where she integrated the SOC team (Employment and Social Affairs, Education and Culture, Health and Consumer Protection) of the Legal Service. She is particularly passionate about EU Citizenship Law.
Mariana holds a LL.M. in International Laws (European and International Law) from Maastricht University and a bachelor’s degree in Law from NOVA University of Lisbon. Throughout her studies, she was an Erasmus+ student at Bocconi University, KU Leuven, and Trento University.
