BG Active Citizen focuses on the improvement of regulations regarding citizen participation at the local, national, and the EU level. The organization advocates for enhanced citizen participation and partnership in government, as well as capacity building, exploration and application of practical working models throughout europe. Currently, BG Active Citizen is involved in the participatory planning and implementation of operational programs for the 2014 – 2020 agenda.
