There’s something in the air [EN]
April 27, 2022 @ 19:00 - 21:30
As part of the Brussels for Clean Air campaign, JEF Brussels and the European Citizens Action Service are organising this participative democracy event. It is the occasion not only to present the most cited problems in Brussels when it comes to Air pollution, but also to jointly find solutions! Just like on our platform.
The BRAL will also provide insights on the outcomes of the Curieuzenair project to get an overview of the current air quality in Brussels.
The evening will continue in a small group setting where participants will have the opportunity to come up with solutions to the most cited problems in Brussels. Experts in the field of those problems provide relevant input and help to find creative and meaningful solutions. The event will be bilingual (English / French).
The small groups will be about the following topics:
1- Health and Inequalities
2- Domestic heating, construction & Industrial pollution
3- Transport pollution
4- Agricultural pollution & environmental degradation
5- Weak pollution management & quality of life on the big boulevards
You already got used to bad air quality in Brussels, or tired of talking against walls (of smog)?
We invite you to come and work on solutions for bad air quality in our city. Our ideas will inspire policy makers in Brussels and in other European cities. An exchange with interesting people, snacks, and drinks is waiting for you.
Ready to breathe fresh air?
