The event is organised by the
Citizen Participation Forum, Bulgaria, the
Danube Civil Society Forum, and
Foster Europe Foundation, with the support of
CEI. The seminar is held in coordination with the 5th Danube Participation Day in Sofia.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss in three workshops current challenges to civil society deriving from the phenomenon of shrinking civic space and to identify common strategies to meet these challenges.
Our Director, Assya Kavrakova, will be moderating the first two workshops, entitled “Challenges to CSOs and civic space in general” and “Strategies: how can we unitize macro-regional strategies to maintain and expand civic space?”.
