ECAS is organising a focus group on political participation of EU mobile citizens in Belgium in view of the upcoming municipal elections which will take place on October 13th, 2024.
The event will be held in English on Friday, June 7th 2024, between 10:00 and 12:00.
Our aim is to get a better understanding of the reasons why political participation of EU mobile citizens is so low. We will discuss how we can encourage them to use their right to vote and stand as a candidate in both European and municipal elections.
Based on the outcomes of this roundtable, we will prepare a report with the results, which will be disseminated on our website and social media.
