Freedom of Movement Training – Belgium (in French)

September 30 @ 09:00 - 13:00

We are hosting a free of charge training for Civil Servants and Civil Society Organisations with the goal to increase the awareness of local administrations and civil society on current obstacles to freedom of movement, by providing the tools to interpret and implement Directive 2004/38 on the right of citizens of the Union and their family members to move and reside freely in the EU.

This training is part of EURECA, co-funded by the European Union.

The event will be held in Belgium (BeCentral, 12 Cantersteen, 1000 Brussels, Belgium).

Meet our expert – Isabelle Kletzlen

Isabelle Kletzlen holds a Master’s degree in international law, a diploma of advanced studies in Community law (University of Aix-en-Provence), and a GDPR certification (Solvay Business School of Economics and Management).

After working as a coordinating legal advisor at the Secretariat-General of the European Commission and the College of Europe in Bruges for over three years (techniques for accessing European law: consolidation, codification, recasting), she became a lawyer at the Brussels Bar in 2000 (advisory and litigation activities in Belgian and European law).

Isabelle is also an expert for France and Belgium for the European Commission service “Your Europe Advice” – DG GROW – ECAS contractor) since 2009, where she advises citizens on free movement.
