How can the EU be closer to citizens and respond to their expectations more adequately?
What do we mean by e-democracy?
What opportunities does the European Citizens’ Initiative offer?
What tools can be used?
How can our voice be stronger?
Join us at this event hosted by the Citizen Participation Forum, a network of Bulgarian and European civil society organizations from across the country.
Executive Director at ECAS, Assya Kavrakova, will open the session on 30 May and chair the panel entitled Co-Deciding with Citizens. It will provide a unique opportunity to bring together representatives of different organizations and share experiences and ideas to revive citizens’ decision-making processes.
The issue of civic participation in a wider European context will be raised, not to mention the challenges that we all face as representatives of civil society organizations.
