BOLSTER kick-off meeting

We are excited to begin working on our new project BOLSTER – funded by the European Union. BOLSTER will deliver new scientific evidence on decarbonisation transition strategies and how they intersect with various dimensions of inequality, such as gender, race, age and class. It will conceptualise the principle of leaving no one behind by developing participatory governance models and transition guidelines based on climate justice and gender equality.

During the project, among other activities, ECAS will support the development of capacity-building activities that aim at engaging forum members, especially the organisations that represent marginalised communities in the BOLSTER activities and the just transition.

On September 7^th– 9^th our colleagues Gabriela Savova, Community Engagement Manager at ECAS, and Vasiliki Katsikerou, our Training and Event’s Manager, will participate in the kick-off meeting of this exciting project.
