The EU Rights Clinic most recent complaint to the European Commission features in The Local France

The EU Rights Clinic has complained against France for its breach of EU law in issuing residence documents to EU citizens, and has featured in an article by The Local France entitled “Brexit: Worried Brits lodge EU complaint against France for failure to hand out residency permits“.

More specifically the complaint contains details of over 20 individuals lawfully residing in France who have been refused residence documents (cartes de séjour) by French municipal authorities contrary to EU law. The complaint is being raised in view of the risks posed to the ability of British citizens to continue living in France after Brexit.
