Georgios Klis

Training Manager
As a Training Manager, Georgios’s main responsibilities are:

  • Consolidate and digitalise ECAS’ training experience and expertise into a Centre of Excellence;
  • Develop partnerships with Universities and other training institutions;
  • Support the implementation of ECAS’ training agenda;
  • Design new training modules and recruit training participants;
  • Develop and manage ECAS online courses;
  • Promote ECAS’ Centre of Excellence through a tailor-made campaign during the European Year of Skills.

 

Before joining ECAS, Georgios Klis worked for EU and international projects at the Council of Europe and Brussel based NGOs dealing with capacity building and training activities for public and local authorities on the subject matters of human rights, rule of law, democracy, integration policy, and health in France and Belgium.

 

He has experience coordinating the organisation and evaluation of training activities and seminars across Europe and online (synchronous and asynchronous) and developing curricula for the judicial (judges and prosecutors) and health sectors.

 

Georgios Klis holds a Master’s degree in International Law (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and International Political Economy (London School of Economics), and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Modern History (University of St-Andrews).
