Before joining ECAS, Florence was a bluebook trainee at the European Commission where she was working in the area of criminal procedural law. Previously, she was active as a researcher, campaign officer and assistant program coordinator in different NGOs in the field of human rights and international development. In addition to her work at ECAS, she teaches in an adult education center to immigrants and refugees.
Florence studied at the University of Antwerp and l’Università di Bologna and holds a bachelor’s degree in law and master’s degree in international and European Law, with focus on human rights, children’s rights, and criminal law.
