As EU Democracy Policy Officer, Eeva’s main tasks include:
- Supporting ECAS activities in the European Democracy focus area
- Conducting research and composing media and policy reports on topics such as EU digital policies, populism, European democracy, and e-democracy
- Monitoring gender and non-discrimination policies’ implementation in the EU Democracy focus area activities
Before joining ECAS in March 2021, Eeva worked in organisations such as the Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland and the Finnish Refugee Council, where her professional focus was primarily placed on research and project management.
She holds a Master of Philosophy degree in International Relations and Politics (University of Cambridge), and a Master of Arts degree in History and Spanish (University of Glasgow).
