Angeline Woods is the Director for Competition & EU Affairs at Uber.
Before joining Uber, she worked as principal associate in the antitrust, competition and trade group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringerf (Brussels office). Angeline practices general European competition law and has advised clients from a range of industry sectors. Her experience covers EU and multi-jurisdictional merger control procedures, including in-depth regulatory reviews and complex remedy negotiations. She also advises on investigations into anti-competitive behaviour, including cartels and abuse of dominance, as well on EU State aid law.
Angeline is co-author of Freshfields’ contributions to the EU chapters of Getting the Deal Through – Merger Control and Getting the Deal Through – Dominance.
Angeline is an English qualified solicitor. She was educated at University College Dublin (BCL and L.LM), Nottingham Law School and Kings College London.
