Are you a policy-maker, researcher, journalist, or member of Belgian civil society passionate about advocating for more digital inclusion and digital skills? Join our event and discussions around how to improve the digital transformation process in Belgium and in Europe!
We are delighted to invite you to attend the Inclusive Digitalisation in the EU (INDEU) Launch Event: Crowdsourcing Citizens’ Perspectives on Belgium’s Digital Challenges, hosted by the European Citizen Action Service. The event will take place on 17 February 2025 from 9:15 to 13:00 (followed by a networking lunch) at Be Central, 12 Cantersteen, Brussels 1000.
The event will include two sessions. In the first session, we invited policy-makers, academics, and civil society representatives to explore Belgium’s progress towards the objectives outlined in its National Digital Decade 2030 Roadmap. Participants are encouraged to take part in the discussions and analyse the digital transformation process together.
In the second session, we will present the INDEU project and the crowdsourcing that will engage over 300 people in Belgium and a total of 1.800 participants across six European countries. We aim to gather citizens’ perspectives, opinions, and solutions on two critical issues:
The objective of the crowdsourcing will be to understand citizens’ realities, compare them with the Belgian roadmap’s goals, and ultimately identify gaps and opportunities to accelerate Belgium’s digital transformation progress.
