Anne-Françoise is a Belgian qualified lawyer with more than 15 years of diversified work experiences within the private, the public and the international non-profit sector.
She qualified with the Brussels Bar in 1997 and worked for several years as an associate of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, both in their London and Brussels offices. She then joined Solvay s.a. as in-house lawyer. In the next part of her career, Anne-Françoise was employed by the public sector, including the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and the Federal Agency for Nuclear Control. In her last position with Avocats Sans Frontières, she was responsible for coordinating and developing ASF’s global Pro Bono program, the International Legal Network.
Anne-Françoise has a Master degree in Law from the ‘Université Catholique de Louvain’ and a L.L.M. (Mjur) in European and Comparative Law from Oxford University. Later she obtained a Degree in Mediation and alternative resolution of conflicts from the ‘Académie de Louvain’.
